I was the host for our gourmet club gathering which was based on a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives theme. It was a lovely evening with friends and food . The Route 66 road trip my hubby and I took this summer provided the inspiration for this triple D theme. This over-the-top dessert capped off our Triple D gourmet club evening. A moist cake, topped with rich mascarpone frosting, drizzled with apple cider caramel sauce and scattered with spiced pecans. Yum!!
We enjoyed this refreshing Route 66 cocktail with the Smoked Trout Spread and Crispy Cracker Bread at our Triple D Gourmet Club.
A creamy spread that is delicious with crispy cracker bread, or crisp apple or carrot slices. This appetizer was served in cute little mason jars for our Diners, Drive-ins and Dives themed gourmet club.
This creamy corn casserole topped with crisp bacon and herbs is a family favorite at our house. It’s a great side dish that pairs well with the Pork Chops Smothered in Sweet Onion Gray.
