Be Ready for Your Miracle, a Thyme4Faith message with something for everyone.
Be Ready for Your Miracle
You have probably heard about or seen first hand the amazing catch made by Stefon Diggs resulting in the Vikings victory over the New Orleans Saints. If not, it’s time to venture out from under the rock you have been living under. Of course, things could have turned out much differently. Especially if the key players were not tuned in and ready to respond. But they were, and the result has been referred to as the Miracle in Minnesota.
Believers Be Ready:
Faith it turns out, requires readiness as well. If we are a followers of Jesus Christ, we are instructed to be ready.
Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain –
1 Peter 3:15
This Case Keenum post-game interview is a perfect example of how the Vikings quarterback did exactly that. What a sincere and timely way to honor God on a national stage!
Unbelievers Be Ready:
If you’ve read this far, but consider yourself an unbeliever, this message is also for you. God uses people and circumstance all the time to touch your life. But like many things, unless you are tuned in and ready to receive, you will miss out. You will miss the positive impact He’s trying to make on your life. Unconditional love. Forgiveness for everything bad you’ve ever done. The chance to surrender all your struggles. To live for something greater than yourself. To know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Don’t miss out. Look at your encounters in the future through new eyes. Listen and watch for what God is doing to reach you.
