Are you feeling anxious, fearful, or convinced the world has gone completely off the rails? You’re not alone. But I have news for you…
Everything Will Be OK. Perhaps you’ve already figured that out. But even if you have, does it change how you live? Or, like me, do you let things like pandemics, politics, and general pandemonium get to you? What if we take a step back and revisit some core truths.
Everything Will Be OK
God Started This
The earth, all that inhabit it, and the entire universe are God’s design. God knew what He created was good. He’s the author of goodness. God also knew we’d muck things up left to our own devices. If you need any convincing on that last point, turn on the news.
God Saved Us
But God, in His wisdom, made a plan for that. He didn’t want us to wallow in our own mess. That’s why He sent His Son Jesus to clean up the mess inside each of us. Through repentance and renewal, Jesus enables us to see the world with open minds and renewed hearts.
We realize, through this divine design, everything will be OK. Not because a certain president is elected, a vaccine is released, or various policies come to pass. But because the Creator made a plan to save all human beings through His son, Jesus.
God Sustains US
But wait, there’s more! This isn’t a one-and-done deal. God knows we’ll need help as we face our next mountain. So God downloads His Holy Spirit to live within us, helping us through everything we face. The Spirit energizes us, provides endurance, and keeps us focused on eternal life, the ultimate prize.
Everything will be OK my friends. God’s got this. He created us. Jesus saved us. God’s Spirit sustains us through it all.
God, the world around us feels out of control and it makes us anxious and even angry at times. But the truth is, You are the One in control. You created the world, save us from sin, and set Your Spirit within us. Quiet our souls in the chaos. Whisper Your truth into our hearts – eveything will be OK. Amen
