Wood bridge walking path through park with text His Love Can Rock You

Take a walk with me and find out how His Love Can Rock You! Remember to SHARE His love.

His Love Can Rock You!

The day started like any other. I was tucked into a comfy chair with my steaming mug of tea and treasured devotional, Jesus Calling by Sarah Young by 6am.  After some quality soaking time with God, the day slowly spun into life. It was actually a busier day than usual due to a few appointments. I was also planning to take a few laps around the pond near my new apartment. While I enjoy the exercise that walking provides, it also gives me additional time to hang out with God. But on this this particular day, I was on the phone chatting with my daughter, Jessica, as I headed down the path. Yet even though I was somewhat distracted, I managed to spot something out of the corner of my eye – a series of strategically placed rocks on a bench along the walking trail.

Are These For Me?

I shared my discovery with Jessica. Are these rocks intended for someone specific we wondered? Are they words of encouragement for anyone who passes by?  I continued to consider the options, and an even better idea occurred to me. What if God intended to use this kind and creative act to speak words I needed to hear? Does God really do things like that? Oh yes, I assure you He can and does.

Living Stones & Steadfast Love

1 Peter 2:5

You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Lamentations 3:22-23

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

One Last (and very cute) Quote

God is the rock that doesn’t roll – from a childhood song sung by my amazing hair stylist Kelly Robbins at Bellina Hair Studio
