road leading into hazy sky and the words for we live by faith, not by sight from bible verse 2 Corinthians 5:7

Launching Thyme4Faith – a series of inspirational faith messages that bring the hope & love of Jesus into everyday life.

Launching Thyme4Faith

I am so excited to bring you Thyme4Faith, a new series of posts that will share how my faith journey is opening my eyes and giving me strength and hope on a daily basis. While we all have our unique challenges, my prayer is that my journey will intersect with yours. That you will find sustenance not only for your body, but for your spirit as well. “For we live by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7

While I was already on a journey of faith, our ALS battle has caused me to seek an even deeper understanding of God, and his relevance in my life. But how does one really do this? How do you take the massive knowledge provided by the bible and find the bits that speak directly to your present situation? My own experience has taught me that God uses many different channels to speak the specific truth, wisdom and hope that I need into my life. He uses the sermons at my amazing faith home, Hosanna. He uses the lyrics of Christian songs, daily devotional readings, various Christian e-publications, blogs, chance encounters with friends and even strangers, you name it!  The most profound experience is when God reinforces a common message across a number of channels in a short period of time. Then you know it’s time to sit up and take notice!

Why Thyme4Faith?

So how will this benefit you? Everyone on this earth has a God-sized hole in their heart that only His love can fill. Whether they know it or not. When you add to this, the many challenges of this world, the case for doing life with God gets even stronger – “I Have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Until we meet again:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Number 6:24-26
