1lb.fresh broccoli cut into small bite size floretsor you can chop it roughly
2c.cubedrotisserie (or other cooked) chicken meat
1can condensed cream of chicken soup10.75 oz
1/3c.milk
fresh ground black pepperto taste
3/4c.shredded cheddar cheese
1tbsp.melted butter
2tbsp.dried bread crumbsplain or seasoned
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Place broccoli in a saucepan with enough lightly salted water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender (time will vary depending on the size of the broccoli.) Drain.
Place the cooked broccoli in a 9 in. pie plate. Top with chicken.
In a bowl, mix the soup, milk and black pepper to taste. Pour over the chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle with cheese.
Mix the bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
