Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

cups
of ketchup
2
tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
1
cup
packed brown sugar
1
pound
bacon
2
cans
whole water chestnuts, drained (8 ounces each)
Instructions
Wrap ½ piece of bacon around each chestnut and place in baking pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, turning once.
Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and stir to combine.
Transfer wrapped water chestnuts to a clean pan (to decrease bacon grease), dabbing each one on paper towel when transferred.
Pour sauce over wrapped water chestnuts or dip each in sauce to coat more evenly.
Bake in new pan for an additional 30 minutes.
If there is any extra sauce, pour over the wrapped water chestnuts and keep them warm in a small crock pot, if desired.
