Ingredients
1pounduncooked jumbo shrimppeeled and deveined
1/4teaspoongarlic powder
1/4teaspoonground mustard
1/8teaspoonseasoned salt
1/8teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
ground black pepperto taste
2teaspoonsminced fresh thymeplus additional sprigs for garnish, if desired
1/4cupbutter
1/2lemon
1tablespoonminced fresh basil
Instructions
Combine garlic powder through minced thyme in a small bowl, stirring to combine. Place shrimp in a large bowl, sprinkle with the spice mixture, and toss to combine.
In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp to pan; cook and stir until shrimp turn pink, 4-5 minutes. Squeeze lemon over shrimp and sprinkle with chopped fresh basil. Garnish with thyme sprigs, if desired.
Notes
A variety of herbs can be substituted or added to this recipe, such as parsley, tarragon, green onion or chives.
